Chuck was my boss, my roommate, fellow softball player, father figure, shipmate and most importantly my friend. We would sit up on the hill with a fire going in the fire pit and just talk. It usually ended with him giving my advice and with myself being young and thinking I knew everything at the ripe age of 25, 26, and 27. Later on as grew up I realized I didn’t know everything and Chuck’s advice soon became treasured advice and memories. I miss those talks, I miss the time we shared up on that hill, with the fire going and drinking and beer. I miss all the those softball games we played, I am going to miss you my friend. I am so thankful that I was able to spend some time with you and Chris a couple of years ago at house when I was out in California working. Rest easy. Fair Winds and Following Seas. James “Rog” Rogers
