Christine Lynne Marsh's Obituary
Christine L Marsh 69 of El Cajon passed away suddenly Thursday February 7 2019. She was born December 18th 1949 in Syracuse New York. She worked as Director of Billet and housing, Marine Corps recruiting Depot For many years. Christine truly loved her job and the people she worked with. She considered them all family and she was “mom” to most of them. Christine loved to cook and over feed everyone she fed. Everything she cooked was absolutely delicious and anyone who ate her lasagna knows it was top rated. She also loved crafting, painting and her love of everything bears. She was strong, independent and stubborn but she would help anyone and would give her shirt off her back. Christine planned on retiring at the end of the year and return home to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was a great mother and grandmother to her sons and grandchildren. She loved all her friends and family. She will be truly missed by everyone who’s heart she touched. She is survived by her sons Brian (Stacey) and Robert. Sisters Norma (Jack) Luther of Florida. Peg Wojcikowski of New York and Theresa Lee of New York. She absolutely adored her grandchildren Andrew and Robbie. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Ethel and sister Mary Anne Gillespie. Family, friends and others are invited to a memorial service at 3:00 pm on Saturday February 16th in the Salli Lynn chapel of Greenwood Mortuary.
