ANDY CHUN YIU LAM's Obituary
Andy Chun Yiu Lam, born in a village near Canton, China. Andy lived a life marked by courage and resilience. At age 20, he immigrated to Brazil, later joined by Emily, who will become his wife, in Brazil. They soon welcomed their daughter, Vilma. At 30, Andy moved his young family to Los Angeles, where their son Waiky was born, and later settled in San Diego County. A true entrepreneur, Andy opened several successful restaurants in Encinitas, Fallbrook, and San Diego. He was also a respected leader in the Chinese community, served as President of Bing Kong Tong Association and Commissioner of Overseas Chinese Affairs, among many other Chinese Associations. Andy will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His strength, kindness, and enduring legacy will live on in all who knew and loved him.
父親林振堯先生,出生于中國廣東省的一個鄉鎮。他的一生充满勇氣,毅力與傳奇。20 歲時,他離開熟悉的香港,毅然移民巴西。後來母親趙彩琼跟隨往巴西,共結鸞理。婚後𧩙下女兒慧敏。30 歲時,帶着年幼的家人再移居羅省。兒子偉傑出生後,定居聖地牙哥。在該區除了開設數家成功餐廳外,更對華人團體不遺余力,貢獻良多,成為華人社區受人尊敬的领袖。顯赫的功業中包括羅省林西河堂理事,中華民國僑務顧問。 人們將永遠銘記家父是一位忠貞的丈夫、熱愛家庭的父親和祖父。他的精明,愛心、和不屈不朽的精神將永遠鉻記在所有認識和愛他的人身上。
