Constance M. Brown's Obituary
Constance Marie Brown Constance Brown, AKA Connie, was born in Claxton, GA on Dec 6, 1957. Within a month of her birth she travelled via train to San Diego, where she spent her entire life until God called her home on June 22nd, 2018. Connie attended school locally graduating from Kearny High School and attending both City and Southwestern College. All who knew her would agree that she lived life on her own terms. Being the social butterfly that she was, it was no wonder that she would embark on a career in Customer Service. One of her greatest passions was gardening and she had a pretty green thumb. Some of her hobbies included sewing, reading, board games and puzzles. Connie also loved the Lord and could be heard quite frequently listening to Gospel music, and singing along quietly. In 2006, Connie married her long time love Timothy L Brown. Although they were married for 12 years, they were actually friends for over 30 years, to which Connie would often say, “I married a good man.” She had an infectious personality and will be sorely missed, but forever in our hearts! Connie is survived by her husband Timothy L Brown, stepdaughter Sara Kruzan, and grand-stepdaughter Summer Kruzan. Mother Luveda Brazelton and sibling Patrica Hogan; Neice Martina and (George Groff), grand nephew George Groff Jr. III, and grand niece Mia Groff. She is also survived by her in-laws; Mark S Brown, Ann and (Byron) Rogan, Cecilia Swiney, and Matthew and (Ursala) Brown, and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Alvin Brazelton, and sister Sanita Hogan. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer’s San Diego.
