Consuelo B. Sánchez's Obituary
On Thursday, October 2rd 2014 Consuelo (Chelo) Sanchez was called home by the Lord to receive her eternal reward. Chelo as she was affectionally called was born on January 17, 1924 in Harlingen, Texas. She was the eldest of eight children born to Amado and Delfina Balli.Consuelo met the love of her life David and were married in October 1948. They relocated to San Diego, California where he worked at North Island as a Civil Service employee and she a dedicated homemaker and mother.Consuelo was a loving sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister-in-law. One of Chelo’s favorite pass times was playing bingo and occasionally visited the casino. This is something she shared with her daughter-in-laws and grandchildren.She is survived by three sons, Edwardo B. Sanchez from San Antonio, Texas; David Sanchez, Jr. and Alberto Sanchez of San Diego, California.Thirteen grandchildren, Edward Ryan Sanchez, Gary Bryan Sanchez, Elaine Sanchez, Crystal Martinez, Elizabeth de la Garza, Michelle Casańo of San Antonio, Texas; David Sanchez III of San Jose, California; Sonya René Sanchez-Borchers, Brianna Marie Sanchez, Troy Joseph Sanchez, Kylie Sanchez, Evelyn Marie Sanchez of San Diego, California and Johnny Balli Sanchez, of Chula Vista, CaliforniaTwelve great-grandchildren, Edward Ryan Sanchez Jr., Jacob Nathaniel Sanchez, Zachary Ray Sanchez of Floresville, Texas, Michael Bryan Sanchez; Alicia Marie Sanchez, Viannay Sanchez, San Antonio, Texas; Troy Joseph Sanchez Jr. of San Diego, California; David Bryce Sanchez of San Jose, California and Jonathan James Borchers of San Diego, California. Jevessa Esine Sanchez, Javier Villasenor-Sanchez of Chula Vista, California.Two sisters, Esperanza Balli of Union City, California and America Rangel of Harlingen, Texas.
