Cornelio de Jesus Andrade's Obituary
Cornelio de Jesus Andrade was born July 16, 1922 to Cornelio Andrade & Concepcion Valencia Andrade. He was the 3rd child of 5. Cornelio married Viola Ramirez, the love of his life, in 1943 in Tecate B.C., Mexico. They would dance as if there were no worries in the world. He was a hard worker who spent most of his career at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, where he was a Crane Operator. He retired there in 1964.Cornelio was always a loving, loyal and giving man. He loved the Lord and would often say “Jesus is the light; only through him is the way.” Cornelio was a family man who loved fishing, boating, hunting, and exploring the outdoors. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. At times he was tough, but he was s self-disciplined man who wanted the best for his family. He loved his family and could not wait for the yearly Andrade family reunions to come around.Cornelio was also a veteran who served in the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in Germany and France. He was an infantry point man, earning him a bar and a purple heart in active combat. There will be an Army Honor Guard at his funeral service to pay tribute to his family for his service in the military.He is survived by: CHILDREN – Hector “Andy”, Gloria, Raymond (and his wife Josi). GRANDCHILDREN – Troy, Olympia, Alicia, Monique, and Monet. GREAT GRANDCHILDREN – Ouseli, Tai, Jiapsi, Sandino, and Nicholas.
