Genevieve Marin Currier, of San Diego, California, was born on December 10, 1959, in Santa Maria, California. She went on to her eternal reward on September 5, 2019, at the age of 59.A Celebration of Life will be held at 5pm on September 14th at The Anchor Church, 1765 Pentecost Way, San Diego, CA 92105. Pastor George Marin of Grace Christian Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 3:30pm at the same location. A reception for the family will be held at Greenwood Mortuary in the Main Building following the evening service.Genevieve was married to the love of her life, Robert Currier, on December 31, 1985. They enjoyed 33 beautiful years together.Genevieve graduated as Valedictorian from Tabernacle Christian Academy and continued on to San Diego State University. She was always busy; her professions included retail sales, the food industry, teaching at TCA, and eventually owning her own cleaning business. Her favorite time was spent caring for her grandchildren.Genevieve modeled servant leadership in every way, serving with all of her heart. She mentored, encouraged, taught, and loved freely. She was a loyal friend and a faithful saint of God. She loved God with all of her being and did everything with excellence as unto the Lord.Genevieve is survived by husband Robert; sons Josiah (Felicia) and Robert III; grandsons Xavier, Xander, Timothy, and Thomas; brotherPastor George (Jill), nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents and parents.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honor Genevieve ,and continue the work of the Lord, may be given to Grace Christian Church, PO Box 1, Albert Lea, MN 56007. The family of Genevieve Marin Currier wishes to thank the families of Grace Christian Church, families of The Anchor Church, and the doctors, nurses, and aids of Sharps Memorial Hospital that have touched her life in so many ways.
