Cyr Lynn Geary-Reid's Obituary
Chronicles of Life Cyr Lynn Geary-Reid entered this life on May 14th, 1967 in San Diego, California and departed this life on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on December 21st, 1975. Cyr graduated from Garfield High School in 1985 and obtained her Bachelors degree in Political Science from San Diego State University in 2002. Cyrs passion was her knowledge of both past and present world history. She was especially interested in the Roman Empire and how it affects our culture today. She was a proud and cherished member of the Southeast Alano Club. The love and support she received immensely changed her life and for that her family and friends are forever grateful. Cyr was a unique and special lady. She brought smiles and joy to many. Her laughter was infectious and made others joyous. You knew she was in the room when you heard her voice. She will be missed by family and friends for an eternity. She leaves behind to celebrate her homegoing, her husband, Marshall R. Reid, two sons, Leo M. Coleman Jr. and Malcolm M. Coleman, her mother, La Vern E. Griffin and her sister, Charlynn E. Griffin-Waite. Special acknowledgment to Leo A. Coleman, Michelle Y. Todd, Ronnie D. Williams, Donovan L. Coleman and Delphia (Dee) Wright. Cyr is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Iva Mae Bracey-Dillard and Vernon Bracey, her mother in-law, Willie Mae Reid and her sister in-law, Patricia Ann Reid. She also leaves behind her father in-law, Henry C. Reid, sister in-laws, Audrey B. Reid, Cynthia Reid and Pamela J. Reid and her brother in-law Henry C. Reid Jr. and a host of other family members and many friends.
