Da Khammao's Obituary
The Khammao family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their father, Da Khammao. He was born on January 1, 1941, and died at the age of 82. On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at approximately 12:30 PM, he passed away peacefully at Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego, California, surrounded by his siblings, children, and loved ones.
Da Khammao was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather to many. He was a kind man, with a grateful heart who had left an indelible impression on everyone he met and had an undeniable impact on his community. Da's favorite pastimes included fishing and spending time with his family and friends. His hobby taught him patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to accept each day as it came. He has been supported by his family's guidance throughout the highs and lows of life and may his family continue to cherish and share his joyful memories and experiences over time.
Da Khammao is survived by his seven children, Khiew Khammao (daughter), Vorn Khammao (daughter), Tha Khammao (son), Nyork Khammao (son), Thongwan Khammao (son), Phanat Khammao (son) and Bob Khammao (son).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sum Khammao, and his parents Wandee and Chan Khammao.
