Daniel G Sterling's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel G. Sterling of Poway, at the age of 95. Born in Adel, Iowa August 12, 1929, Dan joined the Navy after graduating high school. Dan was stationed in San Diego where he met and married his wife of 66 years, Joan. After retiring from the Navy Dan had a career in the aerospace industry. After a 25 year career at Teledyne Ryan Dan retired and enjoyed spending time woodworking, listening to music, and taking photography classes at Palomar College. Dan loved doing home improvement and he completed many projects in and around their home. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Joan, their daughter Anna and son Michael. Dan leaves behind his son Daniel W. Sterling and his grandchildren Leisa Evans, Danielle Romo and Nathan Sterling. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and support.
