Darby Reid Alden's Obituary
Darby R. Alden, 69, passed on April 27,2020, in San Diego, CA. Darby was born to Donald Alden and Eleanor King in Spokane, WA in 1950. He was a resident of San Diego for over 67 yrs. He served honorably in the US Army and completed 3 tours in Vietnam. He retired as a Transportation Manager from the USPS after 30 years and continued to work in his dream job at the Southwestern College Aquatic Cove Center. He loved riding his Harley to work on the beach fixing sailboats, kayaks and surfboards. When he wasn’t working, Darby enjoyed spending his time with family and friends.
Darby is survived by his wife, daughter, sons, daughter-in-law, grandkids and sisters. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
