In Memoriam –
Dardana Omega Arce “Dot” was born on January 24, 1924, in Oakman, Alabama to Daisy Dean Bell and John Sherman Gardner. She passed away peacefully in her residence at the age of 97.
Dot will join her husband Narciso Arce, daughter Betha Anastacio, and her parents and siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her son-in-law, Antonio Anastacio and Family; her children, Narciso “Sonny” & Alice Arce and Family, Sotero “Roy” & Evelia Arce and Family, Lauriana “Nene” Arce and Family, Agustina “Tina” & Ted Crisostomo and Family, and Felipe “Dan” & Patty Arce and Family. Her 20 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, eight Great-Great Grandchildren, and relatives on both the East and West Coasts who will continue to honor and remember her.
Dot had accomplished much in her life from being a WWII riveter in Washington D.C. to a restaurant owner in Chula Vista. She will always be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandma A, and Auntie Dot to all her family.
Mass will be held on August 21, 2021, 11 A.M. at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 5124 Churchward St, San Diego, CA 92114.
