David Hamilton Geller's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of David Hamilton Geller—a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. David’s life was defined by curiosity, adventure, and a generous spirit that touched everyone he met. He found joy in exploring new places, savoring good food, and seizing every chance to travel.
A true lover of the ocean, David discovered surfing after the pandemic and quickly found his second home in the waves. The sea became his source of peace, exhilaration, and connection with a community that shared his passion.
A proud graduate of SDSU, David built his career as an accountant and controller with several local construction firms. David’s zest for living shone in every part of his life. He played the trumpet with heart, rode motorcycles with freedom, and threw himself into every soccer match and marathon with determination and joy. A devoted Padres fan, he loved cheering on his team and spent some of his happiest days coaching his sons’ Little League games. Whether quietly casting a fishing line or diving into a new challenge, David met each moment with creativity and courage.
He is survived by his loving mother, Anne Geller, his sister Laurie, and his sons Jake and Max, who will carry forward his spirit, strength, and love. David will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his kindness, adventurous heart, and the vibrant energy he brought to every moment.
May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.
