Delvin Steven Kennedy Jr. was called home on April 29, 2015. He was the second of 3 siblings. He was born on November 18, 1983, in Berkeley, California, to the parents, Yvonne Abraham and Delvin Steven Kennedy Sr. Delvin was an avid athlete since the age of five where he was an all-star in little league baseball and well-known pop warner football running back where he then progressed to High School football. He graduated from Lincoln High school in 2002. Delvin joined the United States Air Force in 2003, where he served in Operation Enduring Freedom and spent over 2 years of his service overseas, it was during this time that he earned the title of Veteran. During his military service he began college to obtain his Criminal Justice Degree. On October 3rd, 2007 he was blessed with his daughter Mahogany Raeann Kennedy and 4 years later his son Devion A’king Kennedy on July 12, 2011, both of whom he loved and cherished. Delvin leaves to cherish his memory and legacy by his two children, his mother Yvonne of North Las Vegas, Nevada; father Delvin Sr. of Oakland, California; two siblings Jamar Martel Hereford of San Diego, California; sister and brother-in-law Zita and Cedric Smith, Az, and a host of loving relatives and friends.The Family whishes to express their sincere appreciation for your many deeds of kindness during this time of mourning.
