Diane M. Bragdon's Obituary
Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother, who always put others' needs ahead of her own. She was a loving mother, an amazing grandmother (“Nona”), who sacrificed anything to meet her family's needs. Although she was born in Orange County, CA, after moving to San Diego in the late 1970s, she fell in love with the city/county and vowed to never leave. She loved exploring her favorite spots with her kids and grandkids, such as the mountains in Julian, the beaches, Cabrillo, Balboa Park, and everywhere in between. Wherever she went, Diane’s smile and charm would make her quick friends. Anyone who met her instantly loved her and realized how special she was. Friends of her children/grandchildren also called her Mom or Nona, and she treated them with the same care and love as her own family. She loved the simple things in life. Whether it was snuggling on the couch with her kids or grandkids watching Disney movies, playing in the park with her grandkids, or walking on the beach with her sister and mom, she always found joy in the world around her.
Diane is survived by her mother, Dora Rojas, her children Eddie Bragdon Jr. and Aurora Bragdon and her beloved grandchildren, Natalie Skye Miranda-Bragdon and Gabriel Joseph Miranda-Bragdon.
A private service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park on November 20, 2020.
