Dolores Moss' Obituary
Dolores Boyd Moss was born to Margaret Grady Boyd and David Boyd in Coatesville Pennsylvania on October 10th 1938 as the youngest of four children. Her brothers, Henry and David Boyd, preceded her in death, and her eldest brother passed away in infancy. After high school, she graduated from the first Licensed Practical Nursing program in the state of Pennsylvania. She would commit her life to selfless service as a Veterans Administration nurse for over 31 years before retiring in 1993.
In 1962, she started a family with Nathaniel Moss, with whom she would raise her only child, Karla J. Hudson. In 1979, she moved San Diego, California, where she would call home for the next 41 years. She devoted her time to bible scholarship, travel, and providing love and guidance to her family. Dolores entered the kingdom of heaven on Monday, November 2nd 2020.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Dolores is survived by her daughter, Karla Hudson, grandchildren, James and Jonathan Hudson, and great grandchildren, Christopher and Dyllon Hudson, all of San Antonio, Texas.
