Dolores C. Posadas' Obituary
Dolores’s life began on September 15th, 1932 where she was born in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines. Dolores graduated from high school at Rosales Municipal School and she continued her education as a Cosmetologist at Karilagan Beauty School. Dolores loved the beauty industry and continued on with passion for approximately 40 years. When Dolores was 20 years old, she married her life partner, Ernesto Posadas. They got married on October 27th, 1952 and had 9 children. Dolores moved to San Diego in 1983, to be with her eldest daughter, Teresita Payawal. Since her life in San Diego, she worked in Family Loompya for 10 years and helped to baby sit her grandchildren. Her family continued to grow bigger as the years passed. Currently, she is blessed with 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.Besides spending quality time with her family and working, Dolores enjoyed gardening and cooking. Dolores was known for her signature dishes and was always very generous in sharing food with everyone around her. In addition, Dolores also loved flowers. She loved to care for her garden and especially was fond of roses and orchids. Some of her other favorite past times included, watching basketball with her husband and listen to romantic Filipino songs.Upon reflecting on her life here on earth, there are a several words that describe Dolores when remembered by loved ones. These words are: caring, generous, hard working, thoughtful, loving, selfless and strong.
