Domingo Perez, 77, husband of Viki Perez of San Diego, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in San Diego, CA.Born on June 1st, 1941, in Pear Valley, Texas, Domingo was the son of Juana Perez and Macario Perez. He had two brothers, Benny and Jose and was preceded in death by his sister Nancy.Domingo moved to San Diego along with his family when he was 6 years old. Most of his school years were spent in National city. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in June 1960.In 1962, Domingo joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1968 after serving two more years in the reserves. He was then hired as an apprentice welder at Solar Turbines. He retired in 2014 after 47 years on the job.In 1988 he married Viki Jamieson and they were approaching 31 years of marriage in July. In 1989 his grandson, Osvaldo, was born. Osvaldo came to live with Domingo and Viki when he was eight years old and they adopted him when he was 10 years old.In 1997 his granddaughter, Netanya was born. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two sons.Domingo was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was one until the day he died.
