I'm so glad that he was able to spend these last months with his daughter Mary Ann. He was a favorite "uncle" to me and always had a smile even when he couldn't understand what we were saying to him {wink emoticon}. I remember some great times with him and Aunt Mary, once we visited at Lake Mead, another time in Reno when they were touring around. As well as visits at Mary's home in National City, and "Mom" Nola's in Spring Valley. These last few years, we have been blessed by listening to his stories and looking at his photo albums. We can be comforted in knowing that he lived a long life enjoying his adventures on the various boats he skippered, and fishing on the lake; and the trips that he and Aunt Mary took. He was so unassuming, but rich in life experience. I will miss him.
