Donald Lechien's Obituary
Don, 91, passed away on February 3rd in Maricopa County, AZ, while visiting family. He was born in San Diego to Raymond Lechien and Eleanor Weyer.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Loretta “Rita” M. Lechien (Elms). He is survived by his brother Jerry Lechien (Adele); sister Terry Lechien (Paul); daughters Sheri Barzal (Tim) and Cindy Souza (John); son Donald J. Lechien (Shellie); eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Don worked as a construction framer for over 30 years and enjoyed surfing, hunting, fishing and classic cars.
Services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, on March 20th at 1:00pm.
