Dora W. Algarva's Obituary
Dora Algarva, 66, of San Diego, CA was born April 29, 1949 to her proud parents in San Jose, Costa Rica. Earlier in life, Dora reloacted to San Diego, CA where she would remain with her husband, Leeman Algarva. Though Dora moved from her country, Costa Rica, she never forgot her Columbian roots. During her youth, Dora discovered her calling in life and became a Professional Singer. She brought joy to many listeners for over 48 years. On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, the trumpet sound and Dora crossed over to sing with the heavenly angels in eternity. She is survived by her husdand, Leeman Algarva and a host of family members and friends.The Broken Chain We little knew that day; God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories; Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side.
