Dorothy Tabor's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Dorothy Tabor.Dorothy was born on January 17, 1932 in Swickley County, PA. She was the third of four children. Her parents were Harry and Alice Bloom. She attended Oakmont High School and took accounting classes at a local college. She married Dean Tabor on June 12, 1954 in Harmarville, PA and moved to Ohio. On August 22, 1955 she gave birth to a son named Mark. In Ohio she worked for several years in the retail business. They moved to Tucson, AZ in 1965 where she held various positions in Library Services for the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). She retired in 1994 after serving TUSD for more than 28 years. In 1994 they moved to San Diego, CA to be near their son and his family. She was a member of the Nazarene Church, a devout Christian and prayer warrior. Dorothy enjoyed music and was the pianist and organist at multiple churches. Her favorite activities were spending time with her family, studying the bible, and learning all that she could about bible prophecy. She is survived by her son Mark, daughter-in-law Charmagne, granddaughters Chelsea and Cara, sister Hannah, and brother Charles.Thank you, Chelsea and Mark Tabor
