MARIE BEEMAN OBITUARY
Mrs. E. Marie Beeman (98), a resident of Spring Valley, CA, for 64 years, died
peacefully at her home on Thursday, Janua ry 13,2022, Mrs. Beeman, daughter of
the late Harry G. and Edna G. Wells, was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on February
6,1923. She and her late husband, George W. Beeman, Sr., and their two sons
moved from New Jersey to San Diego, CA, in 1953.
Mrs. Beeman was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for several businesses
(including family owned) for most of her adult life. She worked up until a few
months before her passing. She was an accomplished musician and piano player.
Mrs. Beeman was actively involved in teaching Sunday School and Children's
Church at La Mesa First Assembly of God for many years. She later attended
Shadow Mountain Community Church.
She is survived by her two sons, George W, Beema n, Jr., and wife Cheri of La Mesa
and Robert D. Beeman and wife Donna of El Cajon; five grandchildren, David J.
Beeman and wife Mele of Austin, TX, Tom Schmersal, Jr., of Quail Valley, CA,
Brenda M. (Beeman) Strong and husband Koy of Hayden, lD, Hannah F.
(Schmersal) Smith and husband Matt of Campo, CA, and Stephanie J. (Beeman)
Ranum and husband Kevin of Scottsdale, AZ; and thirteen great grandchildren,
Bryanna, Brooke, Tommy, Kammy, Amber, Mayah, Olivia, Betheny, Levi, Dahlia,
Ashton, Ainsley and Thunder.
Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 lmperial Avenue, San Diego,
CA. Service to be announced.
