Edith Mae Anderson's Obituary
Edith Mae Anderson was born in Arkansas on June 14th, 1933 to her proud parents, Archie Franklin Robinson and Helen Van Landingham of Arkansas. Edith moved to sunny San Diego, California at the age of 12. Edith graduated from Grossmont high school in 1950. She was married in Woodland, California June 27, 1954 to Leon R. Anderson, they moved to Lemon Grove soon after. Edith had many different jobs throughout her life, though her primary job was being a mom, church worker and student of the Bible, even Greek. During her lifetime she took adult education classes in many different subjects of computers, business, health, gardening, arts and crafts. Edith loved and was accomplished in numerous arts and crafts, pattern making, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting watercolor, drawing in pastels and pencils and even clay sculpting. She enjoyed learning, teaching and giving afghans as gifts, hundreds of small crocheted blankets for the Linus project, and hats to the Tabitha project. Edith passed away on May 5th, 2019 at the age of 85 in San Diego, CA. She is predeceased by her late husband, Leon R. Anderson and two sisters, Katharine and Patsy whom she now joins. She is survived by her three sisters; Onie Olson, Peggy Hawkins and Eloise Willeford; two children; Leanna Boscia and Lynn Sheppard, four grandchildren; Michael L. Boscia, Karen L. Seward, Daniel R. Boscia and Jessica Ellis, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is now in heaven forever with Jesus.
