Edna "Grandma Eddie" Mae Bowe's Obituary
Born on September 4th, 1934 in Spokane, Washington where she lived until 1962 and moved to San Diego, CA. Her parents were Eugene and Mary Ann Zimbrick, she was the 3rd of 4 children. She retired in 1999 after serving for 20 years. After retirement she was very much involved in her Grandchildren and scrapbooking. She lived in Lakeside and she was a member of Alpine Christian Fellowship Church. Her special friends will always be Barbara Berlanga and Phyllis Ekdon. Grandma Eddie was loving, forgiving, stubborn, tough and humorous. Her most important events in her life were being a mother, working in Law Enforcement for 20 years. Her favorite hobbies and past-times were scrapbooking, reading and being a Grandma. She loved Country music and one of her favorite songs was: “Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox (If I Die)”. She was survived by her 3 children: Kathy, Richard and Karen, 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
