Edward Ramirez's Obituary
Edward Ramirez died on the morning of Thursday October 17, 2019, from complications of hepatocellular carcinoma, at his home in downtown San Diego at the age of 56. He was born on Friday, April 12, 1963 to Johnny and Henrietta Ramirez in San Diego, California. He was a jack of all trades who could fix, just about anything and who excelled most at helping people. He wore many hats in life, electrician, plumber, mechanic, carpenter and the likes. He always made time and shared his ingenuity, know-how and time with anyone who needed it. He worked for 25+ years as a contractor with and for his father, and was as genuine as they come. Funny, down to earth and authentic, he almost always had a smile to greet you. In his neighborhood, he was loved and respected by all who knew him. Everyone’s lives were touched by his good nature and kindness. Above all he was loyal to his family and his life partner. His devotion, love and respect of his parents was evident, as he worked to make their lives easier, whenever he could. He had a kind, light hearted and generous nature about him and was always ready and willing to help a person in need. Edward was predeceased by his brother, John Anthony. He is survived by his parents, Johnny and Henrietta, his brother, Paul Vincent Ramirez, his sisters Patricia Dianne Montiel, Graciela Susan Rodriguez and Rosanna Ramirez. He is also survived by 3 nieces, 4 nephews, and 2 grandnieces and grandnephews, whom all carry his spirit within them. Among his best qualities,Edward was a devoted son with a big heart with a capacity to show kindness to the those less fortunate. The lives that were touched by his we’re made better as a result of knowing him. The Lord blesses those who honor their mother and father and those who show kindness to those in need. May the grace of God and the mercy of the blessed virgin send the Holy Spirit to accompany our beloved Edward to his final resting place. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, devoted son and kind friend to all who knew him. Rest in Peace.
