Elinor M. Schadeck's Obituary
Elinor was born on Thursday, January 31, 1924 in the St. Joseph’s Hospital in San Diego, California (now known as Mercy Hospital). At the age of six the family moved to Ramona, California where she entered 1st grade, furthering her education through High School and later the San Diego College of Commerce.She married and from that union a son, Edward E. Lockout, was born. Later, being divorced for several years, she met and married Edward W. Schadeck, obtaining another son, Edward M. Schadeck. (His son from a previous marriage)Elinor’s father, George E. Smith, founded the Silver Springs Water Company in 1930. Where Elinor was employed for thirty years until her retirement in 1979. In 1995 Ed and Elinor moved to Alpine, California where he passed away in 1997. She remained in the home until her death.She is survived by her two sons, Edward E. and Edward M.; a sister, Betty J. Scott; two daughter-in-laws, Theresa and Sherry; three grandchildren, Shannon, Kelli and Jaime; two nieces, Kimber and Kristine; one nephew, Kevin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert and one nephew, Kenneth.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to your favorite charity.
