Elizabeth M. Hemphill's Obituary
Elizabeth Marie Hemphill passed away in La Mesa, California at the age of 96 on December 7th, 2018. Everyone knew her as “Betty”. Betty was born in Wisconsin on November 4th, 1922. Her parents were George Dauffenbach of Wisconsin and Louise Lindich of Illinois. Betty spent about 75 years of her life in San Diego County, and she worked as a Librarian Clerk in school libraries. Her husband, Jack Hemphill, preceeded her in death several years prior. Betty is survived by her children, Sandra Chapman, Jack Hemphill Jr., Cheryl Chase, and Michael Hemphill; also Betty has 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
