Elton James Green Jr's Obituary
Elton James Green, Jr. was born December 9, 1967 in Panama City, Florida to Elton James Green, Sr. and Joyce Irene Green. When Elton was 10 months old, the family embarked on a new life in San Diego, California. To his father, Elton was always called “Righteous”, to his mother and sister, “Jr.”, his nephews, “Unckie”, cousins, “Pokie” and to his friends, “Elt-Bone.” After transitioning to San Diego, Elton became a permanent resident. He attended Freeze Elementary School, Keiller Middle School and Morse High School.After high school, Elton worked at various jobs throughout San Diego, leaving his mark on everyone he came in contact with. Elton loved watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys and his San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed hanging out with family, friends and watching television with his nephews.Elton received his heavenly wings on January 12, 2018. He is survived by his parents who were with him every step of the way: Joyce & Elton Green, Sr., sister Chavon E. Green, nephews Edward Tidmore and Kenneth B. Garner, Jr. Elton also leaves to cherish his memory a host of family and friends.
