Emerald - You are already missed. you always greet me with a smile, a warm hug, and always a statement of enjoyment and gratitude. You are humble yet firm and fare. You were a living monument whom gathered respect just from your presence. So Easy to stand behind you and your belief in the "Christmas in October" cause for the community. I've been with you on 10 homes as Captain or Co-Captain. What you've built and accomplished in just the ten years I've known you has been nothing short of AMAZING.
I hope your dream continues. I will be here to do what I can and your story will be told year after year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the life you gave to all of us.
We haven't just mended houses and improved curb appeal. we've improved lives and given hope and shown community in all we do. "Christmas in October" brings a similar Christmas Spirit with it, of good will, thoughtfulness, caring, generosity, and hope.
this effort is just a small part of your life, but it is a giant part of the lives you've changed.
THANK YOU. I love you,
To the Family and loved ones - Thank you for sharing Emerald with us. her life is one for the history books. I share your sorrow. please accept my deepest regrets for your loss.
Best to you all, Stephen Erickson
