Emery was born on January 11, 1948, to his loving parents, William Anthony Jimerson and Emma Collins. He pursued his education with dedication, earning an associate degree before embarking on a fulfilling career.
For 30 years, Emery served as a meter technician at San Diego Gas & Electric, where his commitment and expertise left a lasting impact on colleagues and the community alike. Throughout his life, he remained rooted in the city he called home, cherishing the landscapes, culture, and people of San Diego.
Above all, Emery was a proud and caring father to his three sons—Christopher Crite, Cholle Crite, and Emery Crite II—who will forever carry his wisdom, kindness, and love in their hearts. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and devotion to family will live on in those who knew and loved him.
Emery will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain a source of strength and inspiration. May he rest in peace.
