Emmett J Capossere's Obituary
Emmett J. Capossere passed away on February 11, 2023 in San Diego. Born
on Oct. 26, 1930
in Pittsburgh, PA to Martin and Agnes (Pezzillo) Capossere. Graduated
from Peabody High School in 1949.
Worked for General Dynamics, Convair Division, where he ran the Graphics
Dept. Served as
President of the Convair Management Association.
Known as "Coach Cap" by thousands by way of his involvement in Little
League, Pony League, and
Pop Warner organizations in the South Bay, Paradise Hills, Balboa, and
Santee areas. A generous soul
who always helped those in need.
Survived by his sons Michael (Donna) and Tony, his brother Andrew,
caring extended family Teresa Cabading (Mario), Raymond Lopez,
Ernie Arellano, and Mike Arellano (Linda), numerous grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his
loving companion of 47 years, Mary Hull, and his son Emmett.
Viewing, service, and internment will be held at Greenwood Memorial
Park, 4300 Imperial Ave.,
on Sat., March 4, 2023, commencing at 10:00am.
