Emogene Murray born on February 27, 1927 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to parents Stanley Flatt and Susie Maupins, at the age of 92, entered into rest on February 07, 2020 in San Diego, California. She was the former, Emogene Flatt. A resident of San Diego for over 65 years. Emogene was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Murray and her son Leroy Thornton of California, her parents, Stanley and Susie Flatt, a brother, Bobby Flatt, sisters, Mary Whitney, Josie Roy, Mitchleen Melton, Eula Hill, of Kentucky. A respected and Loving daughter, sister, friend, aunt, wife, mother, grand mother and great grandmother. She was self employed and worked as a Senior Care care giver owner operator for over 40 years. She married her love Bill Murray, and togeher raised a family of 3 daughters; Lonna Lewandowski, Emalinda Murphy and Sema Otis. Emogene was also honored to have been able to share her life with 10 grandkids; Lisa, Terra, Adam, Matthew, Ian, Kelly, Kristopher, Meredith, Morgan and Jannett- and, 9 great grandkids; Tanner, Carsen, Olivia, Maisie, Jaxen, Eddie, Noah, Katelyn and Allyson. It is evident that she will forever be missed yet never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
