Ena Delaguardia's Obituary
Ena Delaguardia died at her home in Chula Vista on March 17, 2016 at the age of 85 of complications of congestive heart failure. She is survived by her husband, Diego, her sister Patty Bernales and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Malabon, Philippines and immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. She graduated from Arellano Law School and received a Master’s in Social Work in the United States. After she retired from the San Diego County Social Services, she started her own jewelry business. Known as Tita Ena to the community, she garnered respect and admiration through her generous nature and wisdom. She served as a mentor and role model to many men and women. She will be profoundly missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Season’s Hospice, San Diego.
