Dear Mrs. Delancy, You will be greatly missed. I will forever remember the time you put in at 'The Hive' and the impact you made in the lives of students. It is because of you that I decided to attend an HBCU and major in journalism. I thank you for being one of my biggest fans while I struggled finding my path. I often reflect about the many evenings you sacrificed teaching me how to layout and design a school newspaper (The Buzz). At the time I did not understand how you were actually instilling a solid foundation within me to build a strong work ethic and resiliency beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you for being a woman of your word and inspiring me to become an educator as well. I will always keep your legacy in my mind and heart.
