Ethel C. Stewart's Obituary
Ethel C Stewart was born December 11,1929 to parents Robert & Katherine (Kitty) Bowers in New York City, New York.
Ethel met and married Jack O Collins in 1949 and had two children: Clifford T Collins and Brenda J Mindermann, she has 6 grandchildren (Alan, Wayne, Raney, Breana, Dennis and Patrick) and 10 great grandchildren (Madalynn, AJ, Joslynn, Mia, Gavin, Maverick, Madison, Frankie, Gabby & Amelia) and adopted numerous families, (the Choung Family Bunn, Jenny, Jolene & Sabrina)
In September 1969 Ethel married the love of her life, Henry Stewart and was married 38 years until his passing.
Ethel was a professional Seamstress/Taylor and also a Singer. She sang with such stars as Phyllis Diller, Sammy Davis Jr., and Jimmy Durante. She worked for CBS and with Arthur Godfree for many years. Ethel loved her Church and her Church Family at Faith Bible Fellowship.
On October 10, 2022, Ethel was called home to enter into the Father’s Heavenly Choir. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Bob & Kitty Bowers, her husband Henry Stewart, her brother Bob Bowers and sister Joan Bennet, also, her granddaughter BreBre Collins and her Son-In-Law Dennis Mindermann.
