Evaristo Ed Garcia III's Obituary
Evaristo Ed Garcia III (July 5, 1969 – March 1, 2025)
Evaristo Ed Garcia III was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who left us too soon but will always be remembered for his kind heart, love of family, passion for life and positive outlook on life no matter what was thrown his way.
A true sports fan, Evaristo Ed cheered on his favorite teams—the San Diego Padres and the Dallas Cowboys—the Texas Longhorns through every season, win or lose. His love for lowriders was unmatched, taking pride in the beauty, culture, and craftsmanship that defined the lifestyle. Whether at a game, a car show, or simply spending time with loved ones, he brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
He is survived by his loving parents, Evaristo Garcia Jr. and Patricia Irene Garcia; his beloved sister, Evette Garcia; his cousins Alfonso Silva, David Silva, Melissa Adame and Jerry Garcia; his nino Alfonso Silva Sr.; his nieces Talissa, Alexee, Yzatis, and nephew David.
He was deeply cherished by his family and community, and his presence will be profoundly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial from 4 PM to 9 PM. In honor of Evaristo Ed, we invite friends and family to wear their favorite Padres or Cowboys gear and share stories of the man who brought so much love and energy into our lives. Mass will be Friday March 21, 2025 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church from 10am to 11am. Burial will proceed mass from 11:30 am to 1pm at Greenwood Memorial then reception from 1:30pm to 5pm at Granada Club house 501 Anita st. Chula Vista, CA 91911.
Rest easy and fly high, Evaristo Ed. We’ll keep your memory alive with every game we watch and every lowrider that cruises by.
