Fa Xian Huang's Obituary
Fa Xian Huang was born on March 29th, 1932. Throughout his lifetime has accomplished many milestones in higher education that helped create opportunities for his family’s success.While he was growing up in China, his father set a scholarly example for him by becoming the first generation of students to study in Japan through an exchange program. His father was also a veteran of the Huangpu Military Academy and then in the early 30’s went on to become a professor at the famous Sun Yat-Sen University.Following his father’s footsteps, Fa Xian Huang’s bright personality and outstanding hard work led him to enroll as a Physics major at the University of Education in Kung Ming, Yunnan Province, China, in August 1953. He completed his studies in June 1957, becoming the second generation in his family to receive a formal college education. That same year in 1957, he married his wife Qi Fen Tang. They were married for 59 years and had three daughters together.He used his degree to become a Physics teacher at the local high school, and later on worked at a community college in China for 34 years. On February 1991, he retired as a teacher and immigrated with his wife to the United States to live with his daughter.Fa Xian Huang leaves behind a legacy of many accomplishments, high morals, intellect and good looks. We will remember his devotion to family, his loving personality, optimism, humor and open-mindedness.He is survived by his wife, his three daughters and four grandchildren.黄法贤于1932年3月29日出生在中国广卅一个书香世家。家里共有六个兄弟姐妹,他排行第四。他的爸爸黄君牧因获黄氏家庭的全力支持,幸运成为中国早期受过现代高等教育的出国留学学者,于日本学业完成后,隨后在广卅中山大学任教,并同时在黄浦军校任职,1933年举家搬迁到雲南昆明,只为实现奋斗目标,筹办大型军马场。因为有良好的家庭环境和父亲的教诲,加之自身优质聪慧,文武双全,黄法贤于1953年考取雲南师笵大学物理系,1957年毕业后成为一名物理老师,分别任教于当地高中,卫校,以及社区大学,培育英才34年,为人师表,桃李满天下。同年1957年与妻子湯其芬结婚,59年的婚姻美满,育有三名女儿,现有四名孙男孙女。 1991年退休并移民来美至今与女儿孙辈们共聚。他拥有八十四年幸福的人生!一生光明磊落,为人正直,助人为乐,平易近人,热情待人,自信,乐观,开朗,幽默,风趣,是我们共同尊敬的长辈!愿他乘风而来,驾鹤而去,一路好走 …..
