Fausto M. Montaño's Obituary
Fausto Manuel Montaño died in San Diego, Ca on April 25, 2016 unexpectedly at the age of 73.Fausto was born on November 2, 1942 in Tijuana, B.C. to parents Joaquin and Carmen Montaño. Surviving siblings are Leticia, Arturo & Alda. Fausto was a very ambitious man who had dreams so he began working at a very young age.In 1962 he married the love of his life Guadalupe Clemente-Garcia shortly after he decided to immigrate to San Diego. He worked at various occupations sometimes 2 to 3 jobs at a time. Always working hard for everything he had and providing a better life for his family. He settled in National City where he bought his home and lived there for 50 years. Fausto and Guadalupe had 6 children together Lupe, Fausto Jr., Carmen, Bobby, Laura & Robert. They were married for 53 years.Fausto was a tank cleaner for commercial and industrial tanks for nearly 40 years. He finally retired at the age of 70 from Cal Marine in San Diego.Fausto was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in San Diego. He attended mass every Sunday to thank God for all his blessings.He is survived by his beloved wife Guadalupe, son Fausto Jr. Montaño, daughters Carmen Montaño, Laura Martinez, Lupe & husband Oscar Mendiola, 22 grand children & 12 great-grand children. He left us with beautiful memories that we will all cherish forever in our hearts. Our Tata will be missed greatly.Services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Friday May 6 from 6pm-10pm & Saturday May 7 at 11am.
