Faye Ching Gee
June 4, 1935 – May 10, 2026
Faye Ching Gee passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at the age of 90 in San Diego, California. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her husband, Kenneth Bing Gee. She is survived by her children, Doris Gee, Steven Gee (Man Yee), and Emily Wolfe (Michael); two brothers and four sisters; and many relatives and friends.
Faye was born on June 4, 1935, in Taishan, Guangdong, China, to Chuen Kee Lau and Kun Ming (Tom). Her family relocated to Hong Kong where she grew up. Faye immigrated to the United States after marrying Kenneth. They settled in San Diego, California, where many cherished memories were created. She was proud to become a United States citizen, an accomplishment that held special meaning to her.
Faye enjoyed gardening and could often be found tending to her plants or visiting local nurseries. She loved dining at her favorite Chinese restaurants and spending time with family. Faye took pride in looking her best and enjoyed shopping.
During their retirement years, Faye and Kenneth enjoyed regular visits to SeaWorld, where they spent many afternoons appreciating the ocean breezes and attractions.
