Fessor “Sam” Gray Jr., 68 of San Diego, CA was born December 21, 1947 to proud parents, Lorine and Fessor Gray Sr., in the State of Louisiana. After completing his formal education, Fessor was drafted into the U. S. Army where he served his country. After he was released from duty, Fessor relocated to San Diego, CA. He met and married Ruthy Taylor-Gray who preceded him in death.Fessor worked for USCD Medical Center in the Custodial Dept for over 25 years prior to retiring. He was a major sports fan. Professional Football and Basketball were his favorite.On June 2, 2016, Fessor passed away peacefully at Kaiser Zion Hospital. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving fiance, Ann McKinley, Sons, Deshane Gray, Keeshawn Scott, DeMontauz Gray, Clarence Taylor & Ricky Taylor Daughters; Erica Gray, Charnee Taylor & Phyllis Taylor Sisters, Margie Gray, Edna-Faye Taylor, Clarine Holmes, Addie Mae Holmes, & Mary Judy Brother, Clinton Gray A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Fessor was preceded in death by his sister, Coneal Gulley, as well as his brothers, James H. Gray, Eugene Gray and Bobby-Gene Gray.After services here in San Diego,CA, Fessor will return to his birth state of Louisiana for services and interment in Bernice, Louisiana
