Franca had a passion for sewing and turned her talents into a career. First as a seamstress, a tailor, and later onto her main career owning her own business making custom wedding gowns and bridal party gowns. They were truly detailed pieces of art. She also enjoyed cooking and knitting during her free time. Franca was a member of the Longmont Colorado ABWA and in 2001 was named Longmont ABWA Chapter Woman of the Year.

Franca was a fiercely independent, resourceful, positive lady who always looked on the bright side of life looking forward to her daily glass of wine and cherishing time with family, friends, and beautiful sunsets. Franca relished time spent with her grandchildren sharing wise advice and telling beautiful, detailed stories of her youth in Italy. She found joy in baking and cooking with them teaching them how to create Italian pastries, pasta, and sauces that were special to our family.
St Francis of Assisi best embodies how Franca lived her life here on this earth.
The only thing ever achieved without effort is failure. Do few things but do them well, simple joys are holy, “a single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows”
