Francisco “Frank” C. Martinez IIIEl Cajon – Frank passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was born at Balboa Hospital in San Diego. He lived most of his life in San Diego County, attending Pepper Drive Elementary School and graduating from Santana High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis L. Rasco in 1972.Frank worked as a journeyman carpenter and Plant Manager for Grossmont Union High School District.Frank and Phyllis had two sons, Frank IV and Michael. He loved to spend time with his boys. He volunteered as an assistant Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 362 and as an assistant AYSO Soccer Coach.Frank loved his community. He worked as an officer with the El Cajon Police Reserves, retiring after 22 years as a Reserve Sergeant.Frank loved God, Jesus and his church family.
