Francisco Zuniga, a proud San Diego native, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, at the age of 93. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anastacia A. Zuniga, his three devoted children, and one cherished grandchild.
Born and raised in San Diego, Francisco answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Air Force in 1951. During his four years of honorable service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal, a testament to his dedication and integrity. His commitment to duty and country will be honored with Military Honors presented by the United States Air Force.
Francisco will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and deep pride in his service. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
