Frank Alton Read's Obituary
Frank Alton Read was born on November 24, 1911 in San Diego, CA to William and Alma Read. He was the third of three children. He attended San Diego High and University of San Diego where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. After graduating he began a career as a Pharmacist. He worked in this profession for 50 years and retired in 1979. He married the late Frances Read in 1936.
After retiring, Frank did a lot of extensive traveling and also became an avid gardener. Frank out lived all of his friends; he will always be remembered for his open minded and thoughtful attitude.
He will be loved and missed by his two sons; Stanley Read and Donald Read, along with other family and friends.
