Fred Masaru Hatashita's Obituary
Fred Masaru Hatashita, born on October 10, 1935, in National City, California to Haruo and Mary Hatashita. He entered into rest on April 4, 2023. He was drafted to serve in the U.S. Army at the age of 19. He was a respected and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He married the “catch” of his life, Becky Suye Obayashi in 1965 and had three children, Merri (Nathan), Fred, Jr. (Ana), and Kent (Maiko). Freddie was most proud of his 9 grand children and 2 grandson’s-in-law. Freddie was a generous man who loved telling stories, making people laugh, working in his garden, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. He was well loved and will be missed by many. Freddie is now, along with many of his buddies, fishing in heaven.
