Jim and I wish that we could be there for the service , but alas are far away in illinois close to Wisconsin. She was an amazing strong woman , and I know I can speak for Jim in saying she will be missed by him as well as myself and the kids. I knew Freda since 1962 as I went to High School with her son Gene and have continued to be his friend to the present. There was never a time that I didn't feel welcome in her home. Over the years she always was kind to me and even in her final weeks of life asked her son Gene how I was doing. A remarkable woman who lived a long and gracious life. She will be missed.
