Fritz Richter Human's Obituary
Loving father and husband, Fritz Richter Human, passed away the morning of November 24th, 2024, at the age of 51, in his hometown of San Diego, California. He was surrounded by his family and went peacefully. His battle with glioblastoma multiforme showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile and his unwavering evangelism. Fritz met the love of his life, Grizelda, at Youth With a Mission, the Christian missionary he was a part of for 19 years. It was love at first sight. They both decided to move from South Africa to the United States to pursue their dream of missionary work. Fritz and Grizelda raised three beautiful children, Samuel, Hannah, and Ezekiel. His legacy lives on within them. Fritz continued his evangelism with YWAM and helped build over 100 houses in Tijuana and Ensenada, Mexico. Even though he may have left the missionary, he continued to evangelize as a long-haul truck driver on the road with his dog, Trixie. Fritz helped dozens of people come to Christ. No matter what obstacle he came to in life, he always challenged it with a smile and unwavering love. As a child, Fritz loved anything with wheels. His passion for long-haul truck driving showed this passion. Fritz drove over a million miles across the span of the continental United States over 12 years. His record of not a single accident during these years shows his dedication to his craft. Those who knew Fritz knew how much he loved to put a smile on their faces through his silly jokes and pranks. Even through his difficult battle with GBM, Fritz continued to prank the nurses and made hundreds of jokes. Although Fritz is no longer in-body, he will always live on within the hearts of all those he touched. May he rest in peace in his eternal home with God. Fritz will be honored at a celebration of life on December 11th from 10 am - 12 pm. This celebration will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary.
