Gabriela Rodriguez (Gaby) was a longtime resident of San Diego. Gaby passed away peacefully on September 08, 2022, surrounded by her family. Gaby was born on May 29, 1974, in El Paso, Texas, to parents Maria del Carmen Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez. She shared a beautiful life with her long-time life partner Jeffrey Wright and their fur baby Waffles in San Diego, CA. Gaby was an alum of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace and the University of San Diego. She was an entrepreneur and started her online business 20 years ago selling Health and Wellness products. Gaby was full of laughter, love, and joy. She brought happiness upon everyone she came across. She was dedicated to her daily fitness routines, loved spending her days in the pool, and loved showering her family and friends with gifts and thoughtful love notes. Gaby was a loving, caring, and generous soul, and she will be remembered as a strong force of nature who has left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. To know her, was to love her. Gaby is survived by her mother and father, her sister Alejandra, and her partner Jeff. She will forever be remembered for her contagious smile, optimism, and fighting spirit. May her spirit live on inside each of us.
In honor of Gaby, the family has set up a scholarship in her name at her high school, The Academy of Our Lady of Peace.
