GEORGE H. STEPHENS December 8, 1937 – November 4, 2016George was born to George and Nellie Stephens in Coronado, CA. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1956 and joined the US Air Force, where he served until 1960. He worked for the SD Union Tribune as a Teletype Setter in Composing Room till 1966 when he joined the US Postal Service retiring as a Carrier Supervisor. George is survived by his wife, Prudy, of 49+ years; sons, Troy (Jennifer) and Mark (Holly), and two adorable grandchildren, Haley and Nolan. George loved walking around Coronado, doing the most difficult jigsaw puzzles, and being around his family. George’s humor, great laugh and infectious smile will be remembered and missed by everyone he knew and will live on in the hearts of his wife, sons, and grandchildren.MAY HE REST IN PEACE!
